PT Engineering provided assistance to the NCDOT Program Management team for the development of microscopic simulation models in TransModeler. The simulation models were used to screen potential project for SPOT 6.0 and determine the travel time savings component for scoring in the NCDOT Prioritization Process. PT Engineering was responsible for reviewing the analysis of 14 projects in TransModeler. PT Engineering also reviewed the volume development for 57 intersections. Additionally, PT Engineering developed volumes for 18 intersections and 13 projects.
