PT Engineering developed a traffic forecast for the proposed upgrade of the US 70 Business corridor to a superstreet with potential widening alternatives for the corridor from Greenfield Parkway to NC 42 in Wake and Johnston Counties. The forecast included utilizing the Triangle Regional Model (TRM) travel demand model to develop a 2019 Base Year No-Build, 2019 Base Year Build for three alternatives, 2045 Future Year No-Build, and the 2045 Future Year Build forecast for three alternatives for 25 intersections.
