PT Engineering developed a traffic forecast for the proposed widening of SR 1404/1402 (29th Avenue NE/24th Street NE) from NC 127 (N. Center Street) to SR 1453 (Springs Road NE) in Catawba County. The forecast included utilizing the Greater Hickory Travel Demand Model output to develop a 2018 Base Year No-Build, 2040 Future Year No-Build, the 2040 Future Year Build forecast for one alternative for nine intersections.
