PT Engineering developed a traffic forecast for the feasibility study that included the potential six-lane widening or conversion to a four-lane superstreet along NC 24/27 (Alamance Road) from US 74 to SR 1133 (Arlington Church Road) in Mecklenburg County. The forecast included utilizing the Metrolina Regional Model (MRM) output to develop a 2018 Base Year No-Build, 2040 Future Year No-Build, and a 2040 Future Year Build forecast for two alternatives for 19 intersections.
